Black History Month Talk

This session will cover the history of housing discrimination, housing covenants, and policies put in place at the local, state and federal level to encourage residential segregation. In addition to the history we will also discuss next steps that we can take as activists to desegregate our communities. This session will take a close look at NJ suburbs and urban areas. We will also discuss local Cranford leaders in Black History and how they influenced the community. The session will include historical background information but will primarily be discussion based and interactive. Register here.
